International Share A Dream Day!

How can you or your group get involved?

If you’re in or around Philadelphia, come to our Share A Dream Day festival at the National Constitution Center from 11-1 on Saturday, May 5. If you’re a 2017-18 participant and can’t come, you can send flags or Skype in. See details below. 

Everyone wherever you are, you can…

  1. Share a dream of yours with someone you know and someone you don’t know on May 5th.
  2. Share your dream on social media with #ShareADream on May 5th.
  3. Invite friends to do the same.
  4. Teachers: Share your flags in a public place!
  5. Teachers: Make sure your flags are on Dreamline.org.

  6. Put up a Share a Dream Board in your school or community and invite everyone to write something.
  7. Teachers: Create your own Share a Dream Celebratiom

WHO
Everyone can come. Students, families, teachers, community. It’s free and open to the public.

WHAT
A celebration of student dreams with thousands of flags displayed, dream-related activities, and reading of flags from the stage. Special exhibit from our recent Haiti school pilot launch with their dream and value flags, “talking Dreamline” in Haitian Creole, and Thank You Haiti card activity.
Teachers: Please bring your group’s flags to display with the others. They have to be connected to a line.

TEACHERS:  BRING FLAGS TO DISPLAY BY 10. We put them up between 10 and 11.

HOW

This is a wonderful all-volunteer event hosted by the fabulous National Constitution Center in their incredible space. Watch this 4 min.  video from last year to view their wonderful space for connecting dreams. .

It is an amazing experience for young and old to see the connected dreams of our students and to feel the power of those dreams. Music will knit it all together. Volunteers man the tables and include everyone. You will never forget the experience.
Teachers: Your students’ families CAN attend even if you can’t. Just NO unsupervised students at any time.
Teachers: You CAN send flags if you can’t come. Get them to the following address by May 3rd and we’ll connect them with thousands of others. Flags MUST be cloth, attached to a line (not string) and labeled with your school and location. Include a return label. Mail to:
