About Participating in the Annual Dreamline Program
HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?
Creating, sharing, and uploading Dreamline Banners takes as little as 3 40-minute class periods. Groups may take much longer for study, reflection, writing, art, and sharing involved in the process. Follow up dream-related action project will vary in length.
WHEN DO WE HAVE TO START?
We recommend that you start in the fall but there is NO required start date.
WHEN DO WE HAVE TO FINISH?
You can finish any time during your school year. Our annual cycle ends on June 30. For N. hemisphere schools, we recommend completing Stages 1-3 by the end of March.
WHAT SUPPLIES DO WE NEED?
For each student, you need a piece of cloth which is 23 cm x 60 cm (9 in. x 12 in.).
You will need a length of rope or ribbon which is 30 cm (12 in.) x the number of students plus another 60 cm (24 in.) For the group you will need fine tipped markers for writing (permanent recommended) and other materials for artistic additions of any kind.

WHAT TECHNOLOGY DO WE NEED?
Teachers need Internet access for email and a smartphone or tablet (their own or someone else’s) to use the Dreamline World app. No student technology access required.
IS THERE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AVAILABLE?
Yes. Dreamline offers a range of professional development options, from a 20-minute online introduction to a 5-day residency culminating in a celebration event. Details HERE.
WHO RUNS THIS PROGRAM?
Dreamline Banners is run by Cloud Cloth Education, an NGO in the USA. It was founded and is directed by Jeffrey Harlan, a classroom English teacher for 33 years, who has worked with teachers in more than 35 countries and 42 states of the USA to engage more than 100,000 students of all ages in declaring and sharing their dreams with the world.
